At least 15 people were injured in a 10-car accident and pileup on Interstate 5 in the Seattle area.
The Seattle Times reported that the crash took place near Boeing Field and northbound I-5 lanes were closed.
Traffic was backed up for nearly 15 miles.
A 25-year-old passenger in one of the cars was critically injured. The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with a head injury.
Five people were seriously injured.
KING-5 reported that there was another multi-vehicle crash in the same area around a half an hour later.
