Scott Weiland, the former singer of the Stone Temple Pilots, was arrested for methamphetamine possession and for stealing razors, it was reported.

According to TMZ, which broke the story, Weiland was caught stealing razors from a drug store in Beverly Hills.

A security guard at the Rite Aid saw Weiland stealing from the store late last month. When he tried to stop him, Weiland left the store and was caught by cops shortly after that.

When he was searched, cops found a small amount of meth on him.

Weiland also apparently told them: “I’m Scott Weiland from Stone Temple Pilots.”

He’s been in jail for the past four weeks on $95,000 bail.

In February 2013, he gave an interview about being “fired” from STP. ““I haven’t quit. I haven’t been fired,” he told the publication. “We’re talking right now about when we want to tour next.”
