Scott Disick is being “held hostage” in his own home by Kourtney Kardashian, the mother of his children, according to a new report.
“Kourtney is not letting Scott out of her sights right now and her family is all coming over non-stop to see the new baby,” a source told Radar Online.
Kourtney just had the couple’s third child, son Reign. The couple also has five-year-old Mason and two-year-old Penelope.
The source claims that Kourtney, 35, and younger sisters Kim, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie are keeping Scott on lockdown so he doesn’t relapse.
Scott has had well-documented alcohol problems, and secretly entered rehab over the summer after being hospitalized for alcohol poisoning.
He’s now getting help from an addiction specialist as he spends time sober with his family.
“Kourtney’s family cares way too much about Scott to let him fall again like he does when he is not supervised by all of them,” the source said.
Kourtney doesn’t want the stress of the birth and the excitement of the holiday season to drive Scott to go on a bender, the source added.
However, pictures from New Year’s showed that Disick did go out to party, drinking hard liqour while at Henry’s in Santa Monica, California.
He was with Kourtney’s younger sister Khloe, along with others.
“He was up to his old habits and was definitely drinking at the club,” a source told Hollywood Life.
“He still has a problem and nobody, including Khloe stopped him. Khloe wasn’t babysitting him at all. She let him be drunk and the obnoxious Scott he usually is. He wanted to be the center of attention so he was singing and actually thinking he could rap and he looked pathetic while doing it. It was pretty embarrassing but Khloe must be used to it because she let him do his thing, get drunk and act a fool.”
