NEW YORK—Scarlett Johansson had a “quickie” marriage with Ryan Rodney Reynolds over the weekend, according to press reports quoting publicist Meredith O'Sullivan.
Scarlett Johansson, is an actress from New York City who is of American and Danish citizenship and has appeared in several movies “The Horse Whisperer”, “The Nanny Diaries”, “Lost in Translation” and more recently “Vicky Cristina Barcelona.”
Ryan Reynolds, from Vancouver, British Columbia, shot to prominence in North America for his role in “Two Guys and a Girl” and “Definitely, Maybe” in 2008.
The magazine Us Weekly reported that the wedding took place near Vancouver, British Columbia, where Ryan Reynolds is from.
The couple announced that they were engaged in May this year. Just last month, Ms. Johansson had said in an interview with media “I mean, I’m 23. There’s no reason to rush into it.”
