More than 24,000 people were left without power on Thursday in San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Hayward, and the Castro Valley in California’s Bay Area, according to reports.

PG&E told KCBS News that power officials are looking at the cause.

There is no estimated time of power restoration, reported KRON-4.

On Twitter, users noted the outage.

“UMMM so did all the power in san leandro go out? All the street lights are off and i got home and nothing on,” wrote one.
