Sammy Sosa has been accused of looking like a vampire in some reports this week.

Sosa, the former major league slugger who was implicated of using steroids during his 66-home run season, has purportedly bleached his skin over the past decade.

A recent of photo of him went viral with a tailored suit, relatively pale skin, greased hair, and a pocket square, leading some writers to proclaim he is turning into a vampire. Yahoo Sports writer Jeff Passan retweeted a photo of Sosa, saying he is “guest starring on True Blood this week,” referring to the vampire-themed TV show.

He was in a photo with Panamanian TV personality Nairobi Dacosta, who uploaded the photo to her Twitter account.

According to NESN.com, Sosa began experimenting with “skin conditioning” procedures that make his skin appear whiter than usual. “He and his since-discredited 609 home runs reappeared this week looking downright vampiric,” it wrote.
