Salvatore Belvedere and Ilona Flint have been identified as the victims in the recent shooting at Westfield Mission Valley Mall in San Diego, California.

Flint, also known as Ilona Gregorievna, died after the shooting. She was engaged to Belvedere’s brother.

Belvedere is in critical condition at a local hospital after the shooting.

Gianni Belvedere, Belvedere’s brother, is also missing after the shooting.

Flint, 22, called police early Tuesday morning and told them that she was shot. When officers arrived, they found the victims outside of the mall inside a black sedan with Utah license plates, reported U-T San Diego.

Flint died at the scene. Macy’s, near where the shooting happened, was open that night until 2 a.m. because of extended holiday shopping hours.

Police believe the suspect is a male, possibly in his 20s, standing around 5'10". He was wearing tan pants.

He may have been driving a 2008 to 2011 dark gray Honda sedan.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call homicide detectives at (619) 531-2293 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477, where tipsters may remain anonymous.

In a statement to CBS8, the Belvedere sisters (Angela, Antionette, and Laura) said they want the missing brother to come home. All we know right now is that he is missing and we need him to go home. Please, please if you know his whereabouts or if you have seen him or his car, we’re asking that you please contact San Diego police. Our family has been through a lot and we need your prayers and we hope to bring Gian home.”

Gianni drives an olive-colored 2004 Toyota Camry with the Utah license plate B154VZ. He may be in danger, the sisters believe.

“It’s an unusual thing to happen and this is very unlike Gian, so we are here today to ask for everybody to look for him because we don’t have a clue where he could be.”
