A Brooklyn man who allegedly punched a woman in the face and stole her phone didn’t get far, as his saggy jeans tripped him up, allowing cops to nab him.

The New York Post reported that Joel Donaldson, 21, is suspected of taking a woman’s phone at Court and Remsen streets near the Brooklyn Borough Hall.

Donaldson had on sagging blue jeans, and his underwear was clearly visible, witnesses said.

As he ran from the woman, Donaldson kept trying to pull up his pants as they kept slipping down his legs.

A traffic cop saw him and ran after him as he ran.

Donaldson’s situation became even more dire, as his pants were completely around his ankles, giving the cop a window to tackle him.

“He was zigzagging all over the place, but he couldn’t run because his pants was falling down,” witness Arlene Williams said. “This cop saw it, and he went right after him.’’

In 2007, a Louisiana teen’s sagging pants fell down after he was running from police following an alleged robbery and assault with a brick.

“We literally caught him with his pants down,” Lt. Jack West of Covington police told The Associated Press at the time.
