Sadie Robertson Says She’s Glad to be Home After Dancing With the Stars, Posts Picture and Videos

Sadie Robertson has finally made it home following the chaotic week that saw her get runner-up in Dancing With the Stars season 19.

Sadie just missed out on the Mirror Ball trophy, getting second to Alfonso Ribeiro.

But Sadie and partner Mark Ballas drew lots of praise in the season, dancing well and being creative on their way to the finale.

After the results show on Tuesday, Sadie and Mark and the other three finalists flew to New York City to appear on Good Morning America, where they talked and danced some more.

“Wow what a journey?!? Just want to say thank you for everything. Y’all got us all the way to the end,” Sadie told her fans via Twitter.

She revealed the day before Thanksgiving that she was “so ready to be home!!” and that she was on her way.

Sadie did make it back, but she, Mark, and some of the family took some time to participate in the so-called Thanksgiving dance wars.

Derek Hough–who along with Bethany Mota got fourth place this season–and sister and DWTS judge Julianne Hough launched the wars, dancing at their Thanksgiving, recording the dances, and uploading them to Instagram, and then challenging others to dance.

Maria Menounos was among those who responded, along with Sadie and Mark, and Kate Hudson and Kurt Russell.

Meanwhile, it isn’t clear yet whether Sadie will join the Dancing With the Stars tour.

Alfonso revealed in the finale that he would be joining the tour, which goes around to different parts of the country and primarily features the professional dancers.

Janel Parrish, who got in second place, will join for a stint, and Alfonso said that he and the others were trying to convince Sadie to join.

It’s unclear if Bethany was asked to participate.
