Ryan Lee Carroll, who won a “Breaking Bad” contest, was arrested on drug charges in Fort Myers, Florida.

Carroll, 28, became addicted to the television show, he told WBBH earlier in the year.

“I think its addicting because people can relate to the main character,” said Carroll.

He won a contest sponsored by Aaron Paul, one of the stars of the series, to fly to Los Angeles and attend a private party to watch the series finale with the show’s cast.

Details on the drug charges are scarce, but neighbors said about 15 police cars pulled up at Carroll’s home.

“And they were bringing out box after box of something,” one witness said.

“Breaking Bad” featured a man who began manufacturing and selling meth, a potent and illegal drug.

The local sheriff’s office lists Carroll as charged with possession of drugs with intent to manufacture, possessing a controlled substance without a prescription, and being on violation of probation.

The first hearing is scheduled for Friday morning.
