Army v Rutgers

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights (8-4) will match up against the Iowa State Cyclones (6-6) in the second annual New Era Pinstripe Bowl, Friday, December 30th at Yankee Stadium.

The meeting will be the first ever between the two schools.

“We are excited to feature a neighboring school in Rutgers against an outstanding Big 12 representative in Iowa State for this year’s New Era Pinstripe Bowl,” said Mark Holtzman, Yankees Executive Director of the New Era Pinstripe Bowl, according to a press release.

Rutgers actually played at Yankee Stadium November 12 in a 27–12 win over Army.

“It is a terrific situation when you can play your bowl game in the greatest city in the world,” said Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano.

The inaugural Pinstripe Bowl last season had Syracuse beating Kansas State 36–34.
