Vice Ganda and a hotel executive have contradicted Roxanne Acosta Cabanero’s account of allegedly being raped by Vhong Navarro.

Cabanero recently came forward to claim that Navarro tricked her into getting into his car, and then was driven to a remote area where he sexually assaulted her.

She said that the assault happened around midnight.

But details of her account are being contradicted by others.

Ganda told ABS-CBN over the weekend that Navarro was with him in Island Cove, a resort in Cavite, on the night of the alleged incident, April 24.

Ganda said that Navarro was there from 9 p.m. until Ganda performed his final number at midnight.

While he couldn’t remember the exact time that Navarro was with him till, Ganda said that Navarro was there until at least midnight.

That directly contradicts Cabanero’s story.

In addition, management at the hotel that Cabanero claims she stayed at and from which Navarro picked her up denied that the beauty pageant contestant stayed there.

In fact, they said that none of the contestants stayed there that night.

“Actually that event was offered to us but unfortunately the event organizer was asking for too many rooms because of the candidates. We could not accommodate them all. We have limited rooms here. We declined the offer of the promotion,” Astoria Plaza project director Ric Valenzuela said.

He said that they double checked the database for a guest named Roxanne Cabanero but there was none. He did leave open the possibility that someone checked in for her or that she was a guest of someone else.

Cabanero filed the rape complaint against Navarro last week, saying she was inspired by Deniece Cornejo’s rape complaint against the actor.

Now both complaints appear to be false, with Cornejo’s contradicted by CCTV footage and witness testimony.
