A second hotel has contradicted Roxanne Cabanero’s rape complaint against Vhong Navarro.

First, the hotel that Cabanero said that she was staying at when Navarro raped her in 2010 denied that any Miss Bikini Philippines contestants stayed there during that time. That was the Astoria Plaza hotel in Pasig.

Cabanero’s representatives attempted to clarify the location, saying she was actually staying at the Millenia Suites.

However, management with the Suites told ABS-CBN that none of the contestants stayed there on April 24 either, a seemingly crippling blow to Cabanero’s story and reputation.

Her story has also been contradicted from another angle. She said that Navarro picked her up and drove around, then to a remote area, where he raped her. This took place between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.

However, Vice Ganda has come forward to assert that Navarro was a guest performer at his concert on that night at a resort. The resort has confirmed that this happened.

As a result of the discrepancies in her account, Navarro is planning on suing Cabanero for perjury and libel.

Angel Suntay, Millenia Suites general manager, said that the hotel sponsored the competition, but that the contestants didn’t stay there on April 24.

“First, we were one of the sponsors, that’s true, one of the hotel that sponsored the bikini event,” she said. “But the exact date that was being quoted, that was really not the exact date that the pageant was here. That was not the date they arrived with us.”

The first preliminary investigation into Cabanero’s rape complaint is scheduled for March 13.

That’s the day Navarro plans on filing the lawsuit against her.
