A woman armed with a knife near the Ronald Reagan Building in Los Angeles was shot by police.
Law enforcement sources told Andrew Blankstein of the Los Angeles Times that the woman is about 50 years old.
She was shot about a block from the headquarters of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
