Roger Federer will play David Ferrer in the 2014 ATP Cincinnati Open final on Sunday, August 17.

The match is slated to start at 4 p.m. EDT.

The match will be broadcast on ESPN.

Live streaming will be available via Watch ESPN.

Federer of Switzerland, ranked No. 2 in the tournament and No. 3 in the world, defeated No. 5 Milos Raonic of Canada in the semifinals 6-2, 6-2 after taking out No. 8 Andy Murray of Great Britain in the quarterfinals, 6-3, 7-5.

Ferrer of Spain, ranked No. 6 in the tournament and No. 6 in the world, took out unranked Julien Benneteau of France in the semifinals, 6-3, 6-2 after dispatching with No. 16 Tommy Robredo of Spain in the quarterfinals, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

Federer and Ferrer have played 16 times over the years, beginning in Vienna in 2003. Federer has won every single match so far.

Ferrer has come close many times, including this year in the Rogers Cup quarterfinals. But he ended up losing 3-6, 6-4, 3-6.

Ferrer will try to get his first win against Federer as well as claim the Cincinnati Open title ahead of the U.S. Open, which starts later this month.
