It’s well known Rihanna likes to stir up controversy, and it looks like the singer is at it again.

This time, Rhi-Rhi is going on Twitter rants about the World Cup, and her tweets seem to be upsetting Americans.

Rihanna’s from Barbados — silver allegiance to America is certainly not required, but then again, isn’t the U.S. where she found fame?

The pop star has been deliberately rooting for any opposing country that the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team is playing against.

Germany, Portugal, Ghana — these are the teams the United States was slated with in the 1st round of this year’s FIFA World Cup.

In the Germany vs U.S. match, which saw Europe come out on top of North America 1-0, Rihanna made it very clear on her Twitter timeline that she was rooting for a German victory.

In fact, during the Group G doubleheader, Rihanna took to twitter to root for practically every team but the USA.

“Lets go Portugal; Lets go Germany” was just one of many tweets in support of opposing teams.

Whatever the case, it will be interesting to see where Rihanna’s support is when the United States plays its next World Cup game.
