What do you do when the car in front of you is blocking your progress in traffic?

For one California driver, the answer was supposed to be, “You drive over the offending vehicle.”

Unfortunately for the impatient driver, the answer he came up with left his car lying on its side.

This video submitted to NBC Los Angeles (Warning: the language is Very “Adult”) shows a pair of drivers stuck in traffic on California’s State Route 78 in North County on Feb. 15, according to Patch.com.

The driver of a convertible can be seen standing next to a large SUV, yelling at the driver. The man seemed to be complaining that the SUV driver was on his phone behind the wheel.

Whatever was said, did not satisfy the SUV drive—at all. He saw the cars ahead driving away and decided to follow.

Even then, the driver of the convertible wouldn’t let up. He stood by the window, shouting, even as the SUV began pulling out of traffic.

The SUV driver stuck his head out the window, scanned the road ahead, and kept going. He had plenty of room to get around the convertible, which was parked directly in front of him.

Then the SUV pulls out to pass the convertible ahead—and then slams right into it.

Instead, the SUV climbed halfway up the convertible’s door and tipped over. While the driver in the convertible calmly drove away, the SUV driver had to start thinking of how he would explain all this to his insurance company.

No matter how good a story he might have concocted, it would be for naught. The video of the incident was watched more than 90,000 times.
