Lake called 911 and firemen arrived and extinguished the blaze within 30 minutes, reported OnTheRedCarpet.com.
The roof and attic were severely burned but Lake, her sons Sebastian and Owen, and their dog survived with no injuries.
“Thank you everyone for your concern and well wishes. My sons, beloved dog, and I are safe and very grateful," Lake said via her Twitter account on Saturday.
Her sons are reportedly with their father, artist Rob Sussman.
