RG3 wedding gift: After Robert Griffin III has received many of the gifts on his and his fiancee’s registry list from fans, after the list was leaked online.
Griffin’s mother recently revealed that Griffin and his fiancee Rebecca Liddicoat are getting married this summer.
Now a Bed Bath & Beyond gift registry for the wedding was found online by some fans and then viewed by many more. Soon enough, Griffin tweeted out a picture of him posing with a bunch of boxes full of gifts.
“Thank you to the fans who are helping buy ALL the items from our wedding registry at Bed Bath & Beyond,” Griffin tweeted.
Many tweeted back saying he should donate the gifts to charity because he’s a rich NFL star. Griffin plays for the Washington Redskins.
“I didn’t ask the fans to buy me anything,” Griffin said. “They found it on their own and decided to get what they could.”
Later, he said:
“Haters gon hate. Theme of the day. They always say more money more problems. Or mo‘ money mo’ problems. Yea I’m cultured.”
The couple’s wedding is scheduled for July 7.
