Resurrection on ABC is considered a lock for being renewed for another season.

The freshman drama wraps up season 1 on May 4.

Resurrection has been getting strong ratings throughout the season, including 7.85 million overall and 1.9 million in the 18-49 age bracket for the last episode.

That beat its competitors on Fox (Cosmos) and NBC (Believe) by several million, although it was lower than The Good Wife (9.3 million) on CBS.

ABC hasn’t renewed any shows yet, regardless of whether they’re doing well or not.

On the other hand, the network has already canceled half a dozen shows because they weren’t doing well.

Resurrection is labeled as “certain to be renewed” on Zap2It, which analyzes potential renewals and cancellations.

TVWise, a similar website, also says that the show is “set for renewal.

ABC is expected to announce its fall schedule at its upfront meeting, which is slated for May 13.

Once Upon a Time, Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, Castle, Modern Family, The Middle, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Goldbergs, Nashville, Revenge, Suburgatory, and Last Man Standing are also expected to be renewed.
