The adopted son of actress and socialite Zsa Zsa Gabor and husband Frederic Prinz von Anhalt has died, it was reported on Tuesday.
The Los Angeles coroner’s office confirmed to People magazine that their son, Oliver Prinz von Anhalt, died on Dec. 25 after a motorcycle accident on Mulholland Drive.
Oliver was taken to the hospital on Dec. 19, the same day his mother died at the age of 99, Frederic told TMZ.
He said that he wasn’t aware that his adopted son was hospitalized and believed he was in Germany. According to the website, “We’re told Oliver was in a coma and never came out.”

Oliver von Anhalt, who was formerly known as Hans Georg Robert Lichtenberg, changed his own name after paying Princess Marie-Auguste of Anhalt to adopt him.
Marcus Prinz von Anhalt, one of Oliver’s adopted brothers, paid tribute to him on Instagram, writing that he was “my brother, my best friend, my soulmate.”
Gabor had been hospitalized repeatedly since she broke her right hip in July 2010 after a fall at her home, AP reported.
She already had to use a wheelchair after being partly paralyzed in a 2002 car accident and suffering a stroke in 2005. Most of her right leg was amputated in January 2011 because of gangrene and the left leg was also threatened. Her misfortunes were duly reported to the media by von Anhalt.
