Singer Janet Jackson is pregnant, according to Entertainment Tonight.
This will be the first child for the 49-year-old musician, who will turn the big 5-0 in less than two weeks.
The baby news comes on the heels of Jackson’s postponement of her Unbreakable World Tour, which she announced via her Twitter page on April 7.
The star in a video uploaded to Twitter stated she was looking to start a family with husband, billionaire Wissam Al Mana.
“We’re in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change,” said Jackson at the time. “I thought it was important that you would be the first to know my husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can try to understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue to tour as soon as I possibly can.”
Fans were upset about yet another postponement, hence that was just one of several. In December of last year, Jackson shared with fans that she would need to postpone more dates to have surgery, citing doctor orders.
“Hey you guys… Happy Holidays to each and every one of you. I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon. It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring,” she tweeted in December.

Jackson secretly married Al Mana in 2012.
