A fire next to the westbound Red Mountain Freeway at the McKellips exit has slowed traffic and decreased visibility.
The on-ramp has been closed because the fire.
The freeway is in Mesa, Arizona.
The plumes of black smoke from the debris fire were visible for miles, reporterd KTAR.
Several people appeared through traffic videos to stop along the shoulder to look at the fire.
There’s a backup on McKellips north of Loop 202.
