Rebecca McBrain, the mother of Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow Walker, reportedly has serious drinking problems.
The problems are “a major reason why” Meadow, 15, moved from Hawaii to Los Angeles to live with Walker, reported TMZ.
Walker died on November 30 in a car crash.
McBrain, also known as Rebecca Soteros, was first arrested for drinking under the influence in 2003. She pled guilty and served three years of probation.
She was arrested for another DUI again last year.
McBrain’s drinking led to Meadow calling Walker and pleading to let her move to Los Angeles with him. He was happy to oblige because he and McBrain had many arguments over McBrain’s drinking over the years, according to TMZ.
Meadow has been living with Cheryl Walker, Walker’s mother, since his death. She will likely be appointed Meadow’s guardian, per his will.
