Real Housewives of Atlanta mainstay NeNe Leakes gave an interview saying that broken friendships hurt her.

“When people say, ‘NeNe’s fallen out with this person,’ it really hurts me. Obviously, it hurts me,” she said, according to S2SMagazine. “To have a fallout with them on television…it’s hurtful,” NeNe said, referring to bridesmaids Cynthia and Marlo.

Leakes said, “I feel like I’m a great friend.”

“I have girlfriends I have been friends with for years…and some of them were in my wedding, but those girls are not on the show,” she added. “When you join a reality show you have to form friendships for those shows to go on, and when you fall out with one girl they just make you form another friendship. To the viewers it looks kinda crazy…I get it…All I can do is really go on.”

Meanwhile, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams has been hired permanently on Dish Nation.

According to a Twitter post, Williams said, “Thank you everyone! I’m so excited and grateful to join the cast of @DishNation ! I’m looking forward to lots of laughs and thigh slapping.”

Williams had been a co-host on a temporary basis, but now the move is permanent. “She is hilarious and she’s not uptight. She’s really into making fun of herself…and she smells good,” co-hose Rickey Smiley told Fox Atlanta.

A spokesperson for Dish Nation, a syndicated pop culture show, told the Atlanta Journal-Consitution: “She really connected with the cast ... The chemistry is there.”

The show averages about 1.5 million viewers per night.
