Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida’s marriage is reportedly on “shaky ground” with his pending 8-year-long prison sentence, according to a report, and as a result, Parks may not be seen as much on Season 7 of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

E! Online reported that she'll be taking a few weeks off filming the seventh season to focus on her family.

The network, citing various sources, said that the couple’s marriage is also having problems.

“Phaedra and Apollo’s marriage is on very shaky ground right now,” a source told E! “Phaedra is trying to keep everything contained and protect her kids, which is why she’s taking time off from the show. She does not want their ordeal shown on TV.”

The sources--who were not named--added that Nida isn’t showing “respect” to his wife. Nida pleaded guilty to fraud charges a few weeks ago and got the sentence, but it’s unclear when he'll actually go to prison.

“He has not been showing her the same respect,” another source said. “He’s been filming a lot. He’s been out and about and trying to be seen as much as possible before he goes to jail. Right now, he’s not exactly sure when that will be so he’s living it up while he can.”

Season 7 began filming over the summer. Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, and NeNe Leakes have all returned.

A few days ago, TMZ reported that Parks was not leaving the show as was previously rumored.

“What’s more ... we’ve learned her husband, convicted felon Apollo Nida, is back, too -- at least for a while,” the website says. “We’re told Phaedra and Apollo have been filming for almost a month -- trying to shoot as much as possible before he begins serving his 8-year prison sentence for money fraud.”
