RAHWAY, N.J.—Authorities say a man has died in a shooting at a northern New Jersey boutique sneaker store.
But a possible motive for the shooting at the East Coast store in Rahway has not been disclosed.
Union County prosecutors say the shooting at the Irving Street business was reported around 9:15 p.m. Friday. Responding police officers found 21-year-old Jamaal Gaines, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Authorities declined further comment on the shooting, citing the ongoing investigation.
