Bella Mastracci, an 11-year-old girl, received a death threat--“kill yourself or I will kill you”--inside the cut throat of a Raggedy Ann doll, according to reports this week.

Mastracci, of Powell, Ohio, found her doll face down and almost decapitated on the front porch, with the note inside, according to NBC News 4. It read: “Bella ... Kill yourself or I will kill you.”

The child then told her mother, Cami Amato, who contacted police and other neighboring parents.

Local police deputy chief Stephen Hrytzik told NBC that authorities were not able to obtain fingerprints. They also were not able to identify any suspects, saying they will use other means to investigate the case. “We don’t see these kinds of cases often,” he said.

“Oh this is a crime, absolutely,” Hrytzik told NBC. “It is a concern to the parents, it’s a concern to us. We don’t see cases like this very often.”

The note added, “P.S. My last name starts with a (sic) H.”

Bella told NBC that she was confused and scared as to why this would happen.

“It was one of my favorite dolls when I was young,” the girl said, with her mother adding that she had been bullied in the past.
