Radioactive Box Found Inside Vehicle in LA After Car Crash

A radioactive box has been discovered inside one of the vehicles involved in a car crash in Los Angeles county.

The box is marked “Hazardous Material,” according to county Fire Department Inspector Tony Akins, who spoke to NBC

Andrew Blankstein of the Los Angeles Times is reporting that a 300 foot area around the car is being cordoned off, and that the vehicle is Las Lomas Road at East Huntington Drive. A HazMat team is responding.
