The PS4 and Xbox One consoles were selling over 1,000 units per minute at the peak of sales leading up to Christmas, Amazon announced.
The hottest selling video games, though, didn’t include either console. These were “Call of Duty: Ghosts” (Xbox 360), “Just Dance 2014” (Wii), and “Grand Theft Auto 5” (Xbox 360).
Amazon didn’t provide exact numbers on how many Playstation 4 and Xbox units were sold, making a comparison impossible.
Previously, eBay said that PS4 was outselling Xbox One.
But clearer numbers will be available sometime in January when the full December sales will be released.
