Princess Beatrice is jealous of Kate Middleton’s popularity and has a plan to grab attention from the Duchess of Cambridge, according to a new report.
Beatrice, 26, is the daughter of Prince Andrew, the youngest son of Queen Elizabeth II, and Sarah Ferguson.
Star magazine says in its upcoming January 19th edition that Beatrice is determined to wrest the spotlight away from Kate, who has become one of the most-loved members of the royal family.
“Beatrice is sick of Kate being the center of attention. As far as Bea is concerned she is younger and prettier than Kate!” a source told the tabloid.
“Bea has got a lot of sexy outfits lined up for the next few weeks. And she’s got a trip to the Caribbean planned with her longtime boyfriend, Dave Clark. She thinks that a few skimpy bikinis and making out in the turf will get her the attention that she has been craving.”
The magazine claims that Beatrice wants to create a scandal and become the “Kim Kardashian” of the royal family.
This isn’t the first time a tabloid has linked Beatrice with being jealous of Kate.
Women’s Day said in October 2014 that Beatrice, who is sixth in line to the throne, and her sister Princess Eugenie, feel “overshadowed” by Kate.
“While Kate has been winning hearts around the world, Beatrice and her sister Eugenie have been relegated to attending garden parties and cutting ribbons,” the magazine said.
Kate–the so-called Chosen One–“gets the glamour jobs, the clothing allowance, the limos and the bodyguards, while I have to travel economy,” Beatrice complains to friends, according to the report.
Both Beatrice and Eugenie make snide remarks about Kate and the Duchess’s sister Pippa Middleton, the report said.
