The future king of England, Prince William, and his lovely bride-to-be Catherine (Kate) Middleton have officially released two engagement photos to the press. The pictures, one formal and one remarkably casual (but sweet), were taken by fashion photographer Mario Testino, who People magazine reports was “hand-selected” for the task by the groom-to-be.
“I am very happy to have been asked to cover this historic moment that the whole world was waiting for,” Testino said in a statement. “They are in their prime and brimming with happiness. I have never felt so much joy as when I see them together.”
