Prince Charles’ wife Camilla Parker-Bowles was the subject of the second royal protocol breach in as many days, getting kissed on the hand by a pensioner.

Parker-Bowles, 67, was visiting the Jubilee Centre in St. Albans, Hertfordshire for a festive meal when the incident occurred.

The 89-year-old pensioner Eddie Mansfield gave her a peck on the hand, before the pair chatted, with Camilla laughing.

“It might have been a bit cheeky,” Mansfield told the Express.

The incident came just a day after basketball star LeBron James put his arm around Kate Middleton after a game in Brooklyn, New York City.

That incident happened during a photo call with James, Middleton, and Prince William.

Camilla was at the centre to present members of the over-60s lunch club with a lavishly decorated Christmas cake, reported the Express.

The Duchess met multiple persons while on the trip, including Mansfield.

She also watched as meals for a meals-on-wheels program were loaded onto the van, and visited the charity Emmaus St Albans, where she met formerly homeless man Sam Croft.

“Emmaus was the only place that helped,” she said. “There’s so much security here and it gives you a purpose.”
