Pretty Little Liars season 5 was set to premiere on Tuesday, June 10--and fans are wondering what will happen in episode 2 and when it will air.
Episode 2 will air on June 17, as “PLL” is set to air every Tuesday night at 8 p.m.
ABC Family has released a preview of episode 2, which it titled “Whirly Girlie.”
“With the events of New York behind them and back in Rosewood, the Liars are unsettled to still be living under a cloud of secrets. Aria is haunted by the recent past events, while Emily, Hanna and Spencer try to wrap their head around the new normal. Alison, on the other hand, is still sleeping with one eye open as she is forced to stay at home with her family - who she doesn’t trust.
“Meanwhile, Jason’s odd behavior and Kenneth DiLaurentis’ search for Jessica starts to raise eyebrows about her disappearance.”
It appears that Spencer and Toby will also factor into the episode, as Keegan Allen (Toby) shared a video on Instagram of the couple seemingly cuddling.
Troian Bellisario (Spencer) confirmed to Hollywood Life that the couple are still together.
“They’re very, very combustable and they’re never really far from a fight, but I think that they’re doing a good job of supporting each other now, especially after Spencer’s turn with the Adderrall addiction and everything,” she said. “He’s been really wonderful and so I hope he remains supportive.”
She added that she hopes “Spoby” will stay together. “Spoby is the only remaining couple left alive right now so I hope that they stay together,” she said.
A trailer hasn’t been released yet for episode 2.
