A pregnant motorcycle rider who wasn’t wearing a helmet was killed in a crash in Palm Bay, Florida, according to local media outlets.
The woman, Morgan Premoo, 33, and the unborn child died, police said. Anderson Premoo, 41, of Palm Bay was operating the motorcycle with his wife, ClickOrlando.com reported.
The motorcycle hit a silver Volkswagen that had pulled out in front of it, officials said. The couple was ejected from the motorcycle and flew over the car, Florida Today reported.
The Premoos were taken to Health First’s Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida, it was reported. On Tuesday, Oct. 31, officials pronounced Morgan and her child died. Anderson remained in critical condition Tuesday.
The crash is under investigation.
The name of the driver of the Volkswagen wasn’t released.
Charges are pending for the driver for failure to yield the right of way, Palm Bay Police told the Space Coast Daily.
