Powerball Jackpot $150 million

The Powerball jackpot has reached a whopping $150 million and it seems like everyone is talking about winning big.

Wednesday’s draw yielded one Match 5 winner of $2 million in North Carolina, as well as 645,993 smaller winners, bringing in a total of $15,409,133, according to the Powerball website.

Saturday’s draw has a cash value of a not-too-shabby $92.5 million. If you chose to play, your chances of winning are a paltry 1 in 175 million. With those odds, you might do better putting your money on the next pope, that is, if papal betting was legal in the United States.

The jackpot is won by matching all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball. The drawing takes place Wednesday and Saturday nights at 10:59 EST. Tickets cost $2.
