Ponytail stunt death: Guinness World Record holder Sailendra Nath Roy tried to cross the turbulent River Teesta in West Bengal over the weekend using just his hair and a zipline, but he got stuck.
Roy got around halfway across the 600-foot-long wire when he abruptly stopped.
“Roy tried frantically to get hold of a second rope to reach the finishing point,” a local police officer said, according to AFP.
After around 40 minutes, he stopped moving. When he was taken to a hospital, authorities said he suffered a massive heart attack.
“He was trying to scream out some instruction. But no one could follow what he was saying,” a photographer told the BBC.
