Police have released video footage of a person lighting a Planned Parenthood facility on fire in California.

The Watsonville Police Department released the video, showing a person in a hooded sweatshirt pouring what appears to be flammable liquid before setting it on fire. The flames can then be seen crawling up the side of the building and a chair next to the building.
The FBI said it is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect, KSBW reported. The arsonist was recorded setting the blaze at 398 South Green Valley Road at 4 a.m. on July 20.

The fire continued for about hours, and a community member noticed smoke and called 911, the report said.

Watsonville firefighters extinguished the fire within minutes, and the fire caused moderate damage to the structure. CalFire arson investigators, the FBI, and U.S. Marshalls are now working to find the suspect, KSBW reported.

“At this point, we’re asking for the community’s help in identifying the person seen on surveillance footage. Although you cannot see the suspect’s face, we’re hoping someone will recognize this person based off of his/her physical description, clothing and mannerisms,” the police department said on Facebook

The suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black shoes in the video footage.

Those with information should call detective Ely Uretsky at 831-768-3356.

Other details about the incident are not clear.

The police department did not say whether anyone was injured.

Watsonville is located in Santa Cruz County along California’s Central Coast and is located about 90 miles south of San Francisco.
