Police are searching for a 20-year-old student in Kansas City, and friends and family are pleading with the public after she failed to return home over the weekend.
Toni Anderson, who goes to UMKC in Kansas City, disappeared on Sunday after she told co-workers she was going to a gas station, Fox4 KC reported. Pete Sanchez, her boyfriend, said she was a server at Chrome, a bar, and left work at 4 a.m.
“It was exactly 4:42 when she texted me and said, ‘I just got pulled over again.’ She said ‘again’ because she gets pulled over all the time,” Anderson’s friend Roxanne Townsend was quoted by the station as saying.
Kansas City Police said that they have no record of her being stopped by a police officer.

Sanchez said he and Anderson lived together for two years and she never once disappeared.
Anderson’s described as having blonde hair, a thin build, and green eyes. She was last spotted driving a 2014 black Ford Focus with a Kansas state license plate 998 GAX.
Her mother, Liz, told KSHB: “It’s so hard, such a beautiful, bright, young woman. I just want to find her.” she said.
“It’s not like her. She’s social. You pretty much always know where she’s at,” she added. “It’s just been a horrible nightmare. And I know any parent going through this is just horrified.”
