PITTSBURGH—A Pennsylvania woman has been charged with concealing information about where her missing fraternal twin sons have been for the last 10 years.
Police say 47-year-old Penn Hills resident Patricia Fowler told them she sold the children for $2,000 each but later recanted.
Authorities still don’t know where the children are. The children would be about 17 years old.
Fowler faces a hearing next week on charges that include endangering the welfare of children and obstructing a child welfare investigation. She hasn’t returned messages left on her home phone Tuesday.
Police say they removed four children from the home in June. But child welfare workers notified police in July there should have been six children there.
Police say Fowler has given various accounts of the twins’ whereabouts but none has checked out.
