Police Investigating Recent Armed Robberies

Police in San Jose is investigating two recent armed robberies that occurred at businesses in the same shopping center and are releasing photos and video of the suspect.

At 10:26 a.m. on Aug. 31, a woman entered a business in the 100 block of Branham Lane, presented a note demanding money and pulled a gun from her waistband.

The suspect was able to flee the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

At 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 1, the woman entered a different business also in the shopping center in the 100 block of Branham Lane, pulled out a handgun and demanded cash from the store’s employees and customers.

She was again able to flee the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police have described the suspect as a white woman in her 20s with a thin build.

In the robberies, the woman was wearing spandex pants, aviator sunglasses, white sneakers and either a gray hooded sweatshirt or a red checkered jacket.
