Police in Western Australia Adopt Baby Kangaroo

A baby kangaroo was adopted by a police officer in West Australia after its mother died.

Constable Scott Mason shared a video of him being followed around by the baby kangaroo—known as a joey.

The kangaroo was named Cuejo after the Cue police station where Mason works. Cue is located about 400 miles northeast of Perth, the capital of Western Australia.

“We have decided on a name. This is little Cuejo,” he wrote.

Cuejo’s mother was killed by a truck, leaving the baby alone.
