SINKING SPRING, Pa.—Authorities say a family of five has died in an apparent murder-suicide.

The Reading Eagle reports the bodies were discovered around 3 p.m. Saturday in the family’s home in a subdivision in Sinking Spring, outside of Reading.

Berks County District Attorney John Adams identified the family as Mark Short, his wife, Megan, and their children Liana, Mark and Willow. He says they all died of gunshot wounds.

Sophie Zientek, a cheerleading camp counselor described Lianna. “She’s just beautiful, so sweet, quiet. She just wanted to have a good time all the time,” she told 6ABC
