The new Police Commissioner Bill Bratton has started to make changes to the NYPD, and is planning to replace two police chiefs, sources told the New York Daily News.

Commissioner Bratton told Chief of Detectives Phil Pulaski and Chief of Internal Affairs Charles Campisi that they will be replaced, police sources said.

Last week Commissioner Bratton announced at a meeting at NYPD’s Hispanic Society that the First Deputy Commissioner Rafael Pinero, who was competing for Bratton’s Police Commissioner job, will remain in his position, according to the article.
