Conspiracy theories about the whereabouts of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 still abound, with one saying that rapper Pitbull made a “prediction” about the plane going missing in 2012.

According to the Mirror newspaper in the U.K., some people believe that his track “Get It Started” with Shakira makes some kind of bizarre prediction about the incident. “Now it’s off to Malaysia,” the lyrics read, as well as “two passports, three cities, two countries, one day.”

On YouTube, users were saying that the “two passports” bit refers to stolen Australian and Italian passports of the two Iranians on board the plane. And they said that the three cities refer to the capitals of China, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

“This song is related to the mh370 incident.. OMG!!!” one person said.

But another person added, “The media said that pitbull predicted the plane will go missing cause of the lyrics in this song. Come on people, it’s a [expletive] song not a theory. People in this world are mental. What do you think of pitbull, GOD????”

Other unsubstantiated theories include that the plane was hijacked to Diego Garcia, an island atoll in the middle of the Indian Ocean where a U.S. base is located. An American embassy official in Malaysia strongly refuted the claims.

Another one is that the plane was hijacked to Kandahar Province in Afghanistan by a terrorist named “hitch.” A Russian newspaper, citing unnamed sources, published an article about the alleged Afghanistan hijacking and hasn’t said anything since.

Other ones say that the plane was abducted by UFOs.
