A “Pinterest wedding” was planned by a Dallas man who surprised his girlfriend with a wedding immediately after he proposed to her.

Another surprise was that he used clues from her Pinterest page for the wedding.

Ryan Leak proposed to his girlfriend Amanda Roman during a weekend getaway in Miami.

She said  yes, and they went to a hotel lobby to celebrate.

When they walked into the lobby, the surprise wedding he planned and organized largely based on her Pinterest “pins” was waiting.

“She already knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her and that we wanted to get married someday,” Leak told TODAY.com.

Pinterest is an image-sharing website that is especially popular with women.

Though utilizing social media for planning the wedding, Leak didn’t want the wedding plans to leak out. So he told all the guests to go on social media lockdown several days prior.

“They were all sworn to secrecy,” he says. “I threatened their lives. I put them on a social media ban three days before the wedding in case she figured out everyone was in Miami.”

There’s one question--how did Roman have a wedding dress?

“Amanda got to pick her own dress,” Leak told WFAA. “We actually convinced her to go wedding dress shopping a year earlier.”
