Pierce Brosnan and Wife Keely’s Love Story

Pierce Brosnan, after spending 26 years with his wife (18 of which were married), once revealed his secret to a lasting marriage.

“I love her vitality, her passion. She has this strength that I wouldn’t be able to live without. When Keely looks at me, I go weak,” the “Goldeneye” star told People magazine.

According to People, his “secret” is: “Spending quality time together is a key ingredient of their happy marriage.”

“My wife and I took a short road trip up to Santa Barbara – we were going for a romantic weekend and to look at houses and drink great wine,” Brosnan added. “We didn’t listen to any music, but we just listened to the sounds of each other’s voices and sorted out the world.”

The pair met in Mexico in 1994 after Keely, a former model, appeared in a video with the band Huey Lewis and The News for their single, “Stuck with You.”

According to the Mail, she found Brosnan, who would go on to star in “Dante’s Peak” and “The Thomas Crown Affair,” was “captivating.” Soon after that, in 1995, he was cast as James Bond in “GoldenEye.”

After dating for years, they got married in 2001.

On a recent Father’s Day, she wrote to him: “Thank you for taking this lifelong journey into parenthood with me. You’re the coolest dad I know.” And during his birthday, she said, “You are a bright light in this world and you light up my world with so much love and joy,” according to the Daily Mail.

The couple has two sons: Dylan, 21, and Paris, 17. Both sons have appeared on fashion magazines, and Dylan has posed as a model for Burberry and Saint Laurent.

Another Star Reveals Secret to Marriage

Actress Annette Bening reveals that there is no secret to her long-lasting marriage to actor Warren Beatty.

The two have been married for 27 years, tying the knot in 1992. They have four children.

“There is no secret as anyone who’s been married knows,” the 60-year-old actress told Us Magazine. “We have an incredible family, we have beautiful children. We’ve been through a lot. It’s the center of life. It’s the most important thing. It’s everything.”

Beatty, 82, added that “I don’t think it’s a secret,” adding that it took him “seven or eight seconds” to realize Bening was “the one.”

According to People magazine, that before he met Bening, he was in relationships with a number of actresses up until the late 1980s. It changed, however, when he met her on the set of “Bugsy” in 1991.
