HAMPTONBURGH—The Orange County Arboretum is located on 35 acres of land within Thomas Bull Memorial Park. The arboretum consists of ponds, waterfalls, a forest, statues, a memorial, and different varieties of flowers and trees.

Thomas Bull Memorial Park is over 719 acres, making it the second largest park that Orange County owns. A set of four dairy farms were purchased by the county and converted into a golf course before it became the park. The arboretum is accessed through a gated entrance within the park.

One notable feature within the arboretum is a 9/11 memorial featuring a fountain holding a rotating globe. On the fountain are the names of the 44 residents of Orange County who were killed in the 9/11 attacks.
