WALLKILL—Despite the dry heat and unrelenting sun, the bleachers were packed during the Orange County Fair’s Demolition Derby on July 24. The rides and concerts were less in-demand that evening, but the heat was a boon for those selling drinks like lemonade and smoothies. Other activities included a petting zoo, an antique fire truck show, fortune tellers, mazes, a mechanical bull, and food vendors galore. The fair, which is now in it’s 176th year, runs through July 31.
