WURTSBORO—It wasn’t very wintry weather for Wurtsboro’s 2016 Winterfest, but ice statues lined Sullivan Street and Route 209 in Wurtsboro. Carvers from Stump Devils, a woodworking company in Woodridge, gave an ice carving demonstration at Veterans Park, making five statues in the theme of Under the Sea. The statues gave a wintry touch to a festival that was otherwise spring-like in temperature.
